DANNY MILLER HEADING TO TAME THE WILD WEST  - Tuesday November 2nd, 10

Ralph Schumacher had his 1st F1 win at Imola 2001 and so did SA Super Sedan Sensation Mr Danny Miller - as a mechanic for Williams.F1. There would not be too  many Australian Speedway Drivers who can  cite  the experiencing of travelling the world whilst working in F1, having the opportunity to meet personal  idols  like Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Pele, Dennis Hopper, Travis Pastrana, Ricky Carmichael , Valentino Rossi, Mark Edwards (AKA Goose from Top Gun) and the list goes on.

…..“Imagine being sat on the pit wall at Monza testing on a Sunday morning, there is a light fog and in the distance you can just make out the old concrete banking that the likes of Fangio and other great F1 drivers used to race on, and in the dead silence you can hear the church bells ringing and then the beautiful sound of an F1 car coming out of the Parabolica screaming past you at 200mph............sends chills down your spine….” DM

Danny Miller will be competing in his  ENZED Dominator  in the   SSRC KTRANS WA  sponsored  ‘THE MAGIC MAN 34 – MICHAEL FIGLIOMENI TRIBUTE RACE’   at Perth Motorplex on 6th November. At this stage the Team has also committed to Rounds of the Southside Engine Centre SSSS in  Albany Speedway 13th November then  back  to Perth Motorplex on the 27th Nov,  the  WA Super Sedan State Title 17th & 18th December ,and  depending on how things go,  back for Collie on the 4th December  and the Perth Motorplex over Xmas.

In his Speedway career Danny Miller  is credited with winning the 1st reinvented Fireball Derby at Speedway City after running no heats, breaking a gearbox, sending his  trusty mechanics on a 2 hour return drive to pick up a spare gearbox, fitting it with literally minutes to spare and starting from the rear. Danny also finished  2nd at the SA 2009 State Title with only 5 races in his new Dominator passing Dave Gartner on the last corner and won the gold nugget 2 years in a row in the Hammerdown.

On a personal note Danny’s partner is Beckie Jones the tireless and hard working National Secretary for the ASCF and together the couple have two children Amber and Tegan……………..And when Danny is not doing Speedway  - he loves spending time with the family and  renovating his house.
