Resigning of Southside Engine Centre   - Friday 15th, July 2011

The Speedway Sedan Racing Club is thrilled to announce the resigning of Southside Engine Centre as Naming Right Sponsor for their Summer Series in 2011/2102. Proprietors Graham Jones and Neil Foti said they were very pleased with exposure in the market place through the sponsorship of  the Super Sedans Summer Series  in WA not only to a metropolitan audience at  Perth Motorplex but also the regional coverage in the Summer Series visiting   some of WA’s best county Speedways.

Statistics gathered through the  Southside Engine Centre Super Sedan Summer Series Facebook page showed an average of 8000 views to the page per month at the height of the season to a demographic of 70% males between the ages 0f 17 – 45. Interestingly there was a selected audience checking in from Canada, the UK, USA, Indonesia and Croatia.

Negotiations are still under way for the racing calendar but it is anticipated that Super Sedans will take up the full 12 events open to them at Perth Motorplex and a possible 5 country appearances including a long awaited return of the Premier Sedan Division to  Bunbury Speedway after an absence of 6 years.

With a  total of 39 drivers competing in the series over 14 events last season, The Southside Engine Centre Super Sedan Summer Series 2011/2012 promises to boast the biggest field ever of WA Top Super Sedans including Big Names Marc Giancola; Gary ‘Dusty’ Higgs;  Brooms’ Kodee Brown; Dustin Higgs; Frank Does and South Australian sensation Danny Miller who will contest all of the WA rounds. There are several new cars being built and an excitable Drivers group just waiting for summer to return.
