Season 2011/2012 is looking exceptionally positive for the SSRC as the Club continues building on its achievements and positive momentum forward.
Competitor numbers are once again very buoyant with encouraging word that new Super Sedans continue to be built and purchased here in WA. The SSRC’s ability to deliver on coverage and publicity across all areas of the media is now well documented the Club is confident in being able to give all their Sponsors the best possible Value for their Investment. The standard of racing and professional presentation of the division continues to thrill and impress Race Fans at Perth Motorplex and Country WA.
The Southside Engine Centre Super Sedan Summer Series will again cover a wide area throughout WA with 12 Events scheduled on the racing programme. This will include Super Sedans return to Bunbury on the 19th Nov 2011 after a 6 year absence and Esperance on the 14th Jan 2012. Esperance are in the process of upgrading their track and facilities and the SSRC looks forward to showing their support for their very hard working Speedway community. The Grand final of the Series will be staged in Carnarvon on the 12th of May 2012 after last year’s round there was canceled due to the devastating floods that all but washed away the historical speedway.
To value add to what is already an outstanding season for Super Sedans in WA the WASCF State Title will be in Kalgoorlie the 3rd & 4t h March 2012 and then the National Super Sean Series finally makes its way to WA with rounds at Kalgoorlie on the 7th March, Albany on the 9th and the Series Grand finale to be held at Perth Motorplex on the 10th.
The Super Sedan Racing Club will also continue with its high profile exposure in the pits on race night engaging fans at every opportunity with the Series Marquee as the main focus and continuing promotion through the SSRC website www.wasupersedans.com and the SSEC SSSS Facebook Page.
